Turbo Mode

Turbo Mode combines the magic of Voodoo Juice and the multi-timeframe confluence meter of Trendbot. It displays a colored line on the chart when the 5 min / 10 min / 1 hour timeframe all have bullish or bearish Voodoo Juice momentum.

What is Turbo Mode?

Before we get into what Turbo Mode is, it’s a good idea to understand what Voodoo Juice is first. Voodoo Juice is a reversal indicator which combines Relative Strength Index (RSI), True Strength Index (TSI), and NYSE TICK. Voodoo Juice changes the candle colors to let you know the perfect time to go long, go short, or do nothing.

Now we can talk about Turbo Mode. What Turbo Mode does is display on chart when the 5 minute chart, 10 minute chart, and 1 hour chart all say the same thing. So if all three timeframes are “green” (bullish) on Voodoo Juice, Turbo Mode will display a blue candle and a blue line under the candles. Conversely, if Voodoo Juice is “red” (bearish) Turbo Mode will display a yellow line and yellow candles. 

It’s an incredibly easy and useful way to keep an eye on multiple timeframes. The idea being that when you see blue or yellow it’s TURBO MODE TIME. 

Voodoo Juice (which Turbo Mode is based on) combines RSI, TSI, and TICK to change candle colors and show you when you should be long, short, or flat.

Voodoo Juice shows the outline of the candle as the original color (green or red) but changes the candle fill based on RSI, TSI, and NYSE TICK. A green candle fill means you should be long, a red fill short. And a white fill? Do nothing.

See the Trendbot hub in the bottom right corner? The 5 min, 10 min, and 1 hour are all green (bullish) on Voodoo. So naturally, Turbo Mode is engaged and shows blue candles and blue line. If all Voodoo timeframes were red the line would be yellow. Basically, Turbo Mode makes it possible to disable both Voodoo Juice and the Trendbot Hub and only trade when you see blue or yellow trends.
